Welcome to the Historic Finch!

This cheerful 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom brick bungalow is located on 2nd Avenue in the heart of Uptown Columbus and is only 10 miles away from Fort Moore. The home boasts an open-concept floorplan in the living room, kitchen & dining room, which allows guests to enjoy the company of one another, while the more private spaces provide a retreat for those seeking some peace & relaxation.

While here, you will notice some old architecture and features throughout the home, as it was built in the 1920s. Prior to us (John & Kayla) purchasing the property in March 2024, it belonged to Dykes & Meghan, who rented it out on Airbnb the last few years. They purchased the home in 2021 from Meghan’s father, who used the building as his law office for more than 40 years. Since then, it has been renovated and turned into the charming abode you see today.

To the left of our brick home is a large blue house that is also a rental property. The house to the right is typically vacant except for a few cats hanging out in the backyard. It is also the “sister house” of the Historic Finch, which means they have identical interior and exterior layouts, as both were built at the same time by the same family. The property owners on either side of us are known to be very friendly.
