Prior to us (John & Kayla) purchasing the property in March 2024, it belonged to Dykes & Meghan, who rented it out on Airbnb the last few years. They purchased the home in 2021 from Meghan’s father, who used the building as his law office for more than 40 years. To the left of our brick home is a large blue house that is also a rental property. The house to the right is typically vacant except for a few cats hanging out in the backyard. It is also the “sister house” of the Historic Finch, which means they have identical interior and exterior layouts, as both were built at the same time by the same family. The property owners on either side of us are known to be very friendly.
